SCISSOR CUTTINGS & PAPER COLLAGE

Scherenschnitte, or scissor cutting, is a German art.  It is the technique of cutting one continuous design from a piece of paper.  My designs  are handmade with scissors and also the use of an x-acto knife.  I will personalize these designs with the names and dates that you specify to create a beautiful keepsake that can be cherished for many years that you can give as a gift for a special occasion or keep for yourself.  These cuttings are done on white rice paper usually, however, I find the use of other papers enhances the creation sometimes and will use other types of paper.   I will  frame this artwork for you.  These really make wonderful, personalized and unique gifts!
